Laya Healthcare
Laya Healthcare is the second largest provider of private health insurance in Ireland with over half a million members. Long established in Ireland, they became part of AIG Group in 2015. In recent years they’ve expanded their offering into life insurance and offer members a range of services including Laya Health & Wellbeing Clinics, Heartbeat Cardiac Screening, 24/7 access to a GP and more.
Sandra Burfield, MIS Manager, first contacted Krisolis in 2013 when her team had a hard deadline on a project and needed some external support to meet it. Since then, Krisolis has worked with Laya on a range of engagements including strategic consultancy, developing proof of concepts, putting together skills development programmes and delivering training to not only the MIS Team, but also the wider business.

One of the MIS teams key objectives is to bring more automated processes in around the business in everything from data collecting and sorting, visual analytics, reporting and more. To support this, Krisolis worked with Laya to create a long-term organisation wide analytics strategy. As well as setting out new ways of working, the strategy also identified training requirements and practical ways for these to be met, for example with mentoring.
